Challenges are fun, and thankfully they are also very easy to join.
First, you've got to be a member of this forum. If you're able to see this particular category, you've got this covered.
Second, you've got to make something and get pictures of it.
Third, you've got to list those things. Items that are not listed when you post them here will not count toward the challenge. Sold items count as listed.
Once it's listed, post a link in the appropriate thread for that month's challenge. Monthly challenge threads will be locked once they end, so you can't post in them.
The rules for the challenge are listed in the first post of every challenge thread. For redundancy's sake, I'll post them here, too:
1. Members can only post three (3) pieces per challenge.
2. Each piece MUST have an element of chainmaille in it.
3. Each entry must be posted between the dates of the challenge listed in the relevant thread.
If you make more than 3 pieces, list the best 3 (in your opinion). If you want to change one for a different one, make sure to say which one you are replacing with the link. For example, if you want to replace your #2 piece with a newer one, simply post that you want to replace #2 with the new piece and provide a link.
These challenges are designed to get your creative juices flowing. Maybe it's a chance for you to reacquaint yourself with a weave, learn a new weave, or expand your abilities with a different aspect of maille or design. You do not have to participate in every challenge, though you do need to meet the guild participation requirements.
