If Specific Colors or Metals are chosen, a separate poll will be run to determine WHICH metal or color we like best.
Default holiday for December is Christmas. If that is not the yule time holiday you celebrate, insert your holiday into the parentheses. The December Challenge has been decided!To save space and to avoid having to bump threads to make sure this stays at the top, I will leave this thread open for the posts for the challenge entries. Same rules apply as usual: 1. The Challenge will run from Dec. 1, 2011 - January 30, 2012. Why a two month challenge? I have a lot of stuff going on during this time of year, as I assume many of the rest of y'all do. This is easier to keep from having to remember to check the challenges and run the blog while I'm recovering from Christmas and planning my daughter's birthday two weeks later. 
2. Only 3 entries per person.

I imagine cyberpunk isn't too far from steampunk, with a more industrial look. Incorporate items from the hardware store. Could be interesting to see how others interpret it for themselves!

Cyberpunk is more like the integration of computers and wires. William Gibson style. Futuristic idea where people are hardwired to computers, using computer upgrades for your memory, etc.

Mine was stiff, too. But when I tried to circle it, it was so tight that I couldn't get the last ring in to make it full... meh. LOL

Hmmm, I have a Helm weave I have been dying to try.... Since my Acute Helm has failed badly, I guess I could give the other one a try... Then reorder the "right" rings next time.

I don't get why it is so hard to get it right. I have such a hard time with this one. It works with the rubber cause it has give. Ha may I will stick with that.

I think it's because it involves more math to get the ring sizes right than just simple AR. You have to make sure the small rings will fit inside the big rings and can also hold 4 rings at a time. Kind of like with dragonscale, but still more math than trying to figure out the right rings for HP or something. |

I think I just need to shrink the size of my small rings. But I am out of the size I need in the metal I want. But it's all good because I started a Rondo bracelet and it gorgeous. I just have to wait til I get the rest of my rings since I totally underestimated the amount of rings I would need for that project...

Ooooh. I hope you are having fun with it, Barb! I've only done one bracelet with it and it is among my favorite weaves. It just feels so goood! P.S. You know, dragonscale is a variation of helm...  LOL |
