This poll is for the September guild challenge. There are a lot of options, but you can only choose one! Yep, that should keep it simple.
I have expanded on some of the options, the expansions are in parentheses. Ex: gold(fill, anodized, enameled). If gold is the winner next month, you can use solid gold, gold-filled, gold anodized, or gold enameled. This opens up that option as an actual color and not just the type of metal. This isn't to make it complicated, just to make it so that these choices get the exposure they need and they aren't passed over.
I have also added in Earrings from a past challenge, and Bags. Bags can be dice bags, hand bags, clutches, purses, whatever - so long as it is a bag of some sort.
A new addition is the Unconventional Use of Maille choice. I have seen a hammock made for a ferret, and recently I posted an article on Facebook where they made tires for moon rovers using chainmaille! This could include rain chains (even though this is borderline conventional), home decorations, mail box stands (you'd be surprised), anything that doesn't really fit what you would normally use chainmaille for.
If you have any questions, please ask here or on Facebook.
If you would like to suggest new challenge themes, there's a thread for that. Post them in the thread and they will be added to the next poll!
Rules:
1. 3 entries per person. This challenge will open Sept. 1, so don't get in a hurry!
2. Entries must be an item in your shop.
3. The main focus of the piece must be chainmaille. If you have a large focal pendant or something, that's fine. But don't post something that is less than 75% maille... I think that's fair. Thoughts?
4. This poll will close September 1. The challenge will run Sept. 1 through Sept. 30.
I tend to post and think at the same time. Read the red font. I have tried to elaborate on some of the rules since even to me #3 looked a little vague.
